Our level of connectedness through technology and social media is both a blessing and a curse. (Well, maybe more of a curse …) Aquarius, and its ruler Uranus, rules sudden change, miracles, technology, mass consciousness, our hopes and dreams, innovation, rebellion and electricity. The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 11th is conjunct sober, disciplined Saturn at 19 degrees. Uranus, the Ruler of Aquarius, is transiting Taurus and square to Saturn and the moon. So what does this mean for us magical humans?
This full super moon in Aquarius activates the pull to rise above and transcend our own soul cages to achieve “response-able” liberation. (Escapism is in the realm of Neptune, but that is a topic for our article next month.) The incredible array of spiritual, ecstatic and mystical tools and healing modalities available to all of us–practically anywhere and anytime–marks this time in history as a true era of the return to Sacred Technology. With this particular Aquarian lunation’s connection to Saturn, the sacred tools that match their combined energies are crystals and the merkaba.
Last year I began to explore crystal grids and using them to clear energy in my home, bring harmony to my relationships and to manifest financial prosperity. Glittering crystal grids of all kinds took shape on different altars and in all rooms of my home. They were mandalas of light, increasing the frequency and sense of peace within and without. For this Full Moon I suggest using the Merkaba layout on page 86. I follow Hall’s crystal suggestions and use the book to trace the Merkaba shape on a piece of paper. I write my intentions on the back of the sheet of paper, turn it over and then place the crystals on the lines.
Visualize yourself inside the shape of the merkaba: the point of the upper triangle is at the top of your head, and the overlaying upside down triangle’s point is underneath your body. See the triangles rotating in opposite directions, simultaneously. Fill the space inside your merkaba with the violet flame of transmutation and imagine it’s dissolving old limiting beliefs and negative energies from your mind, body and soul.
I meditate with my crystal grid 2-3 times per day until I’ve embodied the energy of the merkaba, feeling balanced and complete with the intentions it is amplifying. If you wish, simply meditate with your grid once and just allow this sacred technological tool to do it’s work on you and your energetic spaces over the next 5-7 days.
