Welcome to the season of Virgo. This month will feel like a walk in a magical, enchanted forest for so many aspects of our spiritual heart will be activated, along with the grounded earthiness of our spiritual roots.
With 6 planets plus Chiron in retrograde, we have beautiful cosmic support to occupy our magic in a practical, physical way.
The Hermit tarot card is part of our journey through the soul’s evolution as one of the major arcana. It’s number is 9, the same as this month.
Like the Hermit card, the number 9 represents the number of gestation and the bursting belly of what you are ready to give birth to.
There is always a tinge of apprehension at this time as well: a new world is ready for you to step into but first you must travel within the dark spaces of pure wisdom. Here there is a lantern that illuminates the obscure path only a few feet in front of you. Just take one step after another into the unknown until you realize that this pilgrimage was destined to bring you closer to home.
This full moon in Pisces ignites that inner lantern, leading the spiral journey back to full acceptance of your whole self: the heaven of you, the hell of you and everything in between.
Pisces represents the 12th house in astrology–endings. Something in your life is coming to an end so you can rebirth yourself and anything that has been stuck or that has been diminishing your light. If tears flow, let them. If laughter bubbles up, let it flow! The emotions will run high for all of us as we release what no longer needs our life force and we truly occupy our fullest essence.
We’ll also get a taste of Libra season early; the sign Libra rules all partnerships and the theme of balance. Past relationships and past energies around love partners and family will come up to be released at this full moon, too. Mercury will be retrograde in Libra at the full moon helping us revisit the past and finally release it.
