Lakshmi: The Way of Surrendered Abundance

Lakshmi’s name comes from the Sanskrit word Laksya, meaning aim or goal. She is the perfect goddess to help you formulate and manifest your deepest desires in all areas of your life.

Lakshmi is the Hindu mother goddess of beauty, love, wealth and sustainability. She is invoked as the goddess of the home as well. It is often said that Lakshmi will never enter a home (or business) that is cluttered and untidy!

She is often referred to as the “Venus of the Vedas”–this goddess will assist you in manifestations of all things money, love and beauty with sublime grace and ease.

Lakshmi’s name comes from the Sanskrit word Laksya, meaning aim or goal. She is the perfect goddess to help you formulate and manifest your deepest desires in all areas of your life.

She is usually depicted in art as seated on an 8-petaled lotus. She has four hands, representing dharma (right livelihood), kama (desires), artha (wealth), and moksha (freedom from the cycle of rebirth). Her qualities will assist you in healing trauma and old wounds from your early life and past lives so you can release old self-sabotaging patterns around being seen and how you magnetize, hold and grow your wealth.

Lakshmi is the consort and companion of Lord Vishnu. She is a goddess who welcomes support of the masculine–in essence, when you align and connect with your inner masculine it will make it so much easier for you to find the right systems and support. You will achieve your goals with Lakshmi at your side when you have also embraced your internal Divine Masculine.

She is the daughter of mother Durga and being a mother goddess herself, Lakshmi is addressed as mata (mother) instead of devi (goddess).
