Solstice Blessings | Thursday 12/21/2023 at 7:27 p.m. PT

The Solstice is a time of quietude, of firelight, of dreaming; where life and seeds germinate beneath the surface...

This is the solstice, the still point of the sun, its cusp and midnight, the year's threshold and unlocking, where the past lets go of and becomes the future; the place of caught breath.
~Margaret Atwood

Greetings Friend,

"Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again..."

The shortest day of the year, Winter Solstice, is on Thursday, December 21, 2023, 7:27 p.m. PT. The Solstice is a time of quietude, of firelight, of dreaming; where life and  seeds germinate beneath the surface. We hold full faith and trust in the return of the light and the full flowering of a future Spring that exists only in our imaginations. But first, we sit with the bony structure of the universe revealed in winter--stripped down and essential in its beauty.

May you celebrate and share with others…
Candles of light in the darkness,
Candles of grace in the suffering,
Candles of joy despite all sadness,
Candles of hope where despair keeps watch,
Candles of courage for fears ever present,
Candles of peace for tumultuous days,
Candles of forgiveness for all the difficulties,
Candles of love to embrace all that is Life,
Candles that will burn all the year long.
~Linda Graham based on Howard Thurman

As the light is reborn this winter solstice, may our hearts open in joy and may we be filled with the promise of new beginnings.

May we feel renewed and at peace with every moment of daylight we gain from here on out.

May our hearts emerge, as all the wild things do, with the return of the light.

Together let's create a holiday season filled with warmth, love, and spiritual connection.

Come share a cup of tea and the joy of the season with us.

Wishing you a blessed Yule!

Teresa, Spirit of Thule and Huxley, Tucker, and all at Paradise Found

As of tomorrow, the days begin to get longer as the light of day grows. While the gentle winter sun slowly opens its eyes, let us all bring more light and compassion into the world.
