And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
Greetings to our friends & community,
This summer I feel particularly present to the blessings of living in Santa Barbara. Here we are nestled between the mountains and the sea with easy access to both. On these long, warm days I am relishing the freedom of less clothing, bare feet, and the abundance and ease of fresh fruits and veggies.
Windows thrown wide open, my internal sense mirrors the external. I am filled with wonder at the play of life, the lila. I am filled with wonder and appreciation for the people I get to play with; you, the staff and readers. I am deeply grateful that I live in a place where people travel from all over the world to vacation. I am deeply grateful that my work is my play.
Go and play. Run around. Build something. Break something. Climb a tree. Get dirty. Get in some trouble. Have some fun.
