How does one become a butterfly? You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.
Season’s Greetings to our friends and community,
We crave to see, and be part of, a peaceful world. A kinder world. A world in which beauty, truth and goodness reign. We have come to understand that each of us holds an essential piece in this evolution of consciousness. More and more of us are willing to take responsibility for our piece, the whole. There is a knowingness that we can work with the energies, appearing to be both in us and around us, to weave a more enlightened future.
A future that is no longer anthropocentric but biocentric; where love, joy, diversity and unity are the guiding principles in our collective efforts. So many have been doing their work—the work of evolution—inside and out for many years. I have had a front row seat at Paradise Found. I have witnessed this gentle unfolding.
Yes, we know sometimes it looks like the “cha-cha-cha” with lots of movement but no forward motion, but I’m betting on us. I’m trusting the awesomeness of life itself and our own deep desire for transformation.
We have an opportunity in this coming time period to invite and invoke, to create ceremony around, to ride the waves of, and to anchor in this, new earth.
by Maya Angelou
In our joy, we think we hear a whisper.
At first it is too soft. Then only half heard.
We listen carefully as it gathers strength.
We hear a sweetness.
The word is Peace.
It is loud now.
Louder than the explosion of bombs.
We tremble at the sound.
We are thrilled by its presence.
It is what we have hungered for.
Not just the absence of war. But true Peace.
A harmony of spirit, and comfort of courtesies.
Security for our beloveds and their beloveds.
We, Angels and Mortals, Believers and Nonbelievers,
Look heavenward and speak the word aloud.
Peace. We look at each other, then into ourselves,
And we say without shyness or apology or hesitation:
Peace, My Brother.
Peace, My Sister.
Peace, My Soul.
May your holidays be peaceful, bright and filled with love,
Teresa, spirit of Thule, Tucker and all at Paradise Found
