Did you know you are inherently magnetic even though you may not see yourself that way? Magnetizing yourself is all about tapping into your natural inner-magnet; it’s the magnet that we celebrate on Valentine’s Day: The heart.
It’s got less to do with how you look, dress or act; and even less about the friends you have or the people you know. Magnetizing yourself is all about calibrating your energy to the pure love within you that emanates from your heart. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t have a partner or love-interest because magnetism is what comes before and co-creates the romance.
To help you ramp up your magnetism, I’ve listed 3 energy healing tips I use and recommend to clients. They may sound simple but they are very powerful. If you experiment with the practices you might surprise yourself.
(Whenever I feel less magnetic, I know it’s usually because I’m carrying some heavy energy around from my day. You know, the kind of stress energy that erupts because of daily pressures or exchanges tinted with conflict. Or I may be feeling conflicted in myself about something or someone.
Regardless of what it is, and especially if I don’t know the exact nature of what feels heavy, I use this practice of moving energy with my intention to transmute the negative energy into a lighter frequency that leaves me feeling more magnetic and sets me up for the next exercise.)
The First Practice: Transmuting Negative Energy
Sitting with your eyes closed begin by doing a few slow rhythmic breathing cycles, holding at the top of the inhalation, for a few seconds and at the bottom of the exhalation, for a few seconds.
Energy follows your thought or what you focus your thoughts on, so gently be aware of the tips of your toes. Imagine a brilliant white light filling up your feet as it enters the micro-chakras at the tips of the toes and the sole chakras on the bottom of the feet. Let the light slowly proceed up your legs, filling up your knees, your thighs and your torso and so on gradually and slowly filling up your whole body with each easy breath until it fills you up to the top of your head.
Then let your awareness rest about 3 inches above your head; then six inches above; and then higher, beyond any measurable sense. Hold that awareness for about 1-2 breathing cycles and then move the energy back down slowly, from your head all the way to your toes. Make sure you pause to feel every part of the body on it’s descent. When you get to your toes, be aware of the ground or space below your feet for about 1-2 breathing cycles. You may feel very relaxed at this point, however we aren’t finished.
The last step is to imagine the light slowly going back up the body to the head, and 3-6 inches, plus more, beyond the crown of the head. This turns the heart center’s activity up and calibrates it with the crown, plus causes your auric field to expand. It will create a deep sense of peace and connect you to the Love you are within, even as it’s transmuted the heavy stress energy.
Allow the awareness you have at the space above your head to relax there for 3-4 breaths as you affirm words of gratitude: “I’m so thankful for this lightness and the energy”. When you feel finished, gently return your awareness to your whole body and open your eyes and assess. If this brings you to a space of feeling lighter, as well as magnetized you can stop here. Otherwise, if you need more, then move to the second technique.
The Second Practice: Saluting the Heart Within You
After doing the first exercise where you gently brought your awareness back to your body, be slightly aware of a beam of light penetrating your crown center and, bring your focus to the center of your chest.
Place your hands in prayer position, palms together with thumbs at your chest. Close your eyes and visualize a beautiful pink rose in your heart space, the center of your chest.
From this spot to the beam of ascending light coming down through your crown, mentally affirm, “namaste, the light within me salutes the light with my higher soul; the love within me salutes the all pervasive and magnetic love that IS my higher soul.”
You may keep your eyelids closed and draw your gaze upwards as you affirm the words for 1-2 breaths and then return your awareness to your heart to feel the energy pouring down from above your head. Enjoy this blissful sensation for as long as you like before returning to your normal consciousness.
If you want to amp this feeling up and be more conductive and magnetic then move onto step 3.
The Third Practice: Sending Heart-Energy
When you are finished enjoying the sweetness in your heart space, become mildly aware of the blissful feeling descending from the crown and filling up your body in the form of pink light. It can look like “fairy-god-mother” sparkly pink light or whatever your inner vision presents. The point is that your are moving the energy to effect a shift in your vibration that will impact your surroundings and life.
Next, mentally recall the events you have in the day ahead and see each event getting saturated by the pink light that has filled your body up and is now radiating outward. You are radiating the most magnetic form of energy from within you to your environment. It doesn’t have to be a special event, but can include every activity you have planned in your day. If you linger in this activity your higher soul may show you happy outcomes or let you see visions of solutions you may have had questions on.
Regardless, let yourself be in this space for as long as it feels right and then slowly return your awareness to normal consciousness. To keep this feeling and further anchor the intentions and bliss you may keep a special journal listing the positive vibes and visions that you experience.
With each practice you’ll get better and better at shifting into a more magnetic you, and regularly calling pleasurable experiences your way. I find that it even makes the not-so-pleasurable experiences easier to handle, as well. This is especially fun to use in February, with Valentine’s Day just ahead. Use it without being attached to any specific outcomes and it’s impossible for the Universe to not surprise you! Plus if you keep it in a journal, you’ll have a chance to go back and read all the blessings you enjoyed as a result of your practice!
