I know nothing, except what everyone knows—if there when grace dances, I should dance.
Tips for almanac use: All the aspects can be felt in advance of the occurrence. It is good policy to view these as due dates for various energies and prepare accordingly for your context. It’s akin to bringing an umbrella with you when rain is expected, but it also helps us to not take the weather personally. When we proactively manifest these symbols then the world doesn’t have to do it for us. Choose to be con(with)-siderate(the stars).
So, yeah, May. It starts off mellow enough, though the effects of April still linger in the air, and it’s not all smelling like roses. There are some fireworks on the 7th for sure, as Mercury will actually cross the disk of the Sun, which will make for some super intensity, but brief. Then it relaxes again until later in the month when everything just gets rather dangerous and challenging. It could fabulous for cutting through old crap and making leaps and bounds of progress, but much care should be taken. All in all, not too crazy, but it definitely goes out with a few bangs.

The Full Moon is on the 21st at 2:14 pm (pacific) in 1 degree of Sagittarius. This could be a super tense and intense and gnarly lunation. The question mostly revolves around how we’ve been spending our energy and how anger has been appearing in our lives. The idea is to be active and channel this energy in a safe manner. Avoid confrontation and work on processing through any old angst issues. Also, we may want to revise our wish list of things to do.

Jupiter squares Saturn on the 26th at 5:28 am (pacific), pitting openness to easy change against the idea that everything requires hard work. Ideally, we should be fusing these energies together into a belief system that values doing the tough stuff but is always open to grace and benevolent growth. Mercury trines Pluto on the 30th at 8:05 pm (pacific), hopefully putting some things back into a more proportional perspective. The trick is to not freak out and just keep on doing what needs to be done. Don’t over-think, and continue to practice mental editing.
So, May, what will you bring us? Well, it’s going to hit off different people’s charts rather differently, as always, so for some it will be quite chill, but for others it’s going to be quite a roller coaster all the way through. However, the month is also fraught with temptations and distractions of all sorts. So, let us all stay on purpose and do our things graciously and gracefully.
