It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
Tips for almanac use: All the aspects can be felt in advance of the occurrence. It is good policy to view these as due dates for various energies and prepare accordingly for your context. It’s akin to bringing an umbrella with you when rain is expected, but it also helpsus to not take the weather personally. When we proactively manifest these symbols then the world doesn’t have to do it for us. Choose to be con(with)-siderate(the stars).
So, November is already here. It doesn’t look to be all that crazy, especially compared to October. It’s generally about recovering from recent times and then stretching ourselves into some newer ways of being and looking at things. But the main theme centers around not taking it all too seriously.
The Sun trines Neptune on the 1st at 1:17 am (pacific), calling us to take some time and space to ourselves to unwind the emotional buildups. Relax when you can and unfurl the tension that’s been swirling around. Breathe deeply.
Mercury sextiles Pluto on the 2nd at 10:08 pm (pacific), stirring up some uncomfortable thought patterns so we can, hopefully, change the narrative and focus on the essentials in situations. Don’t over-think things and be careful with communication.
Venus trines Uranus on the 4th at 11:23 pm (pacific), making for a little wackiness and weirdness. The idea is to be true to your own inner weird one and embrace it through some kind of out-of-the-ordinary activity. Try something silly.
The Sun sextiles Pluto on the 7th at 12:22 am (pacific), dredging more ego patterns and self-conceptualizations to the surface. The main goal is to not take ourselves too seriously but concurrently take care of necessary business and personal growth.
Mars moves into Aquarius on the 8th at 9:52 pm (pacific), where he will be until December 19th. This will get us all contemplating future visions and actions. Work out a plan of action to get from vision to actuality and seek out help from others towards achieving the goals.
Venus moves into Capricorn on the 11th at 8:55 pm (pacific), where she will be until December 7th. This draws our attention towards the practical realms and would support us doing some de-cluttering and trimming-down of things in general. Organized and simple surroundings will help us feel at ease.
Mercury moves into Sagittarius on the 12th at 6:40 am (pacific), where he will be until December 2nd. This sounds the call for some adventure. We should be exploring our local areas and studying new things and talking about out-there ideas. Keep your mind open and your eyes attuned.
The Full Moon is on the 14th at 5:52 am (pacific) in 22 degrees of Taurus. This should be a gloriously mellow lunation focusing on family, food, comfort, and the natural rhythm of things. Get out in nature if you can and meditate on the wonders of the world.
Mercury sextiles Mars on the 15th at 9:23 am (pacific), ramping up the mental spheres quite a bit. Talk things through with friends, find clarity, make some jokes, and keep it light. Work on being re-inspired towards action.
Mercury squares Neptune on the 18th at 8:04 am (pacific), churning the waters into a murky quagmire. It’s definitely not a time for precision and clarity, unless the answers are coming from within, from a place of silence. Be careful with communication and be sure to practice mindfulness in general.
Venus sextiles Neptune on the 19th at 3:04 pm (pacific), asking us to take a break from the tumult and simply enjoy being, or relish something delicious or comfortable. Focus on the good that surrounds us and work on connecting with others with open hearts.
Neptune stations direct on the 19th at 8:39 pm (pacific), starting us down the path of resolution for the last 5 some months of undoing. Do a ritual centered on regaining clarity and inspiration.
The Sun moves into Sagittarius on the 21st at 1:23 pm (pacific), pushing us to get out of any ruts we’ve slipped into and to try new things. Innovate and explore, the old ways won’t serve us so well; so let’s get creative and take some risks.
Mercury sextiles Jupiter on the 22nd at 10:19 am (pacific), giving us room to better balance our relationships and come to greater mutual understandings. Talk things through, but be mindful of exaggerative speech. Make sure to listen and contemplate instead of waiting to speak.
Mercury conjoins Saturn on the 23rd at 10:44 am (pacific), prompting us to take measure of how much we have accomplished and grown and where work still needs to be done. Don’t be an overly harsh judge and make sure to give credit where it’s due. Focus on the successes, learn from the rest.
Jupiter squares Pluto on the 24th at 2:42 pm (pacific), demanding that we all take a hard look at what is motivating us and how we can better reach out to our support systems, as well as be available to others. It’s not a simple equation, but the core is about connecting with others for who they truly are and removing projections and others oddities from our relationships. It’s a mutual understanding party, let’s join in.
Venus conjoins Pluto and squares Jupiter on the 25th at 3:48 am and 5:45 am (pacific), pulling us in two very different directions. One is towards essentialism of possessions and life in general and the other tends toward excess and dissipation. This is asking us to find the balance and work towards preserving/achieving a more streamlined, yet fabulous life.
Mercury trines Uranus on the 26th at 5:38 am (pacific), promoting some mental release of tension. Do something a little wild or silly; study something kooky or have off-the-wall conversations with yourself. Think outside of the box.
The New Moon is on the 29th at 4:18 am (pacific) in 7 degrees of Sagittarius. This should be a rather playful and light lunation. The main idea is to create new visions of where we are taking ourselves. Rewrite the script so that life is more of a quest than a haul.
Venus squares Uranus on the 29th at 12:20 pm (pacific), frothing up the kooky in all of us. Dance through this tension with flexibility and avoid people that are spinning out. The key here is to love all of our parts, and work on respecting everybody else’s.
The Sun squares Neptune on the 30th at 5:17 pm (pacific), whisking us away down the path of introversion. This is not a great time to get too specific, but more so to let the lines blur and appreciate the nebulous nature of existing in these crazy human bodies.
So, yeah. November has a little bit of everything, so adjusting to the day to day astro-weather may be the main challenge. All in all, it doesn’t seem to be too gnarly and should give us all a chance to catch up on our lives and our projects and our people. Staying connected is important, and this month definitely emphasizes being true to our present selves with people we care for. Hopefully, we’ll all come out happier and healthier.
