And then, unexpected, and seemingly out of nowhere, something very drastic happens. Something we label bad, negative or devastating. Now what? Obviously those feelings of being embraced by happiness and love seem to have disappeared. Our thoughts become scattered instead of focused, and we wonder, WHY?
Is this yet another lesson? Or, is the true lesson learning, how to deal with big, potentially overwhelming, challenge?
Sometimes, even if just for a split second, you may think, “I just don’t want to deal with this…I want to give up!” But who does that really help? What does that achieve?
To do any good, I present to you another option. Collect each and every negative thought; stack it in a pile and send that pile away…sky high…in the clouds and out of reach. Do this every day. Talking, thinking and feeling victimized, and just hating everything about what is challenging you, will only deplete your own energy and will even wear on those around you. Avoid these lower vibrations!
There is also another potential solution. Deal with what needs to be dealt with. I am not expecting you to break into song and dance over your troubles, but simply to try to be as neutral or unbiased as possible. Try not to let it affect the positivity & cheerfulness of the rest of you life.
How, do you ask, is that possible?
Start one day at a time. If need be, one hour at a time. Focus on all the wonderful things that you cherish so dearly. In this way, you can refuel yourself and may truly have the energy, positivity and drive you need so much for the chaos in which you now find yourself.
Of course, sometimes you may find yourself back in a dark, brooding hole filled with your negative emotions. And that is okay. As long as, through movement, music, connecting with nature, or other enjoyable tasks, you find your way back. Find your way back out into the glorious sunshine and see that pile of negativity stacked away, high up in the clouds, and out of reach.
