Friday, June 5, 2020, at 12:12pm PTKnown as the Full Strawberry Moon. Other names include the Rose Moon, the Hot Moon, and the Mead Moon."The Full Moon and penumbral lunar eclipse in Sagittarius occurs on June 5. Visible in Asia, Australia, Europe, and Africa, this is a visually mild eclipse, but the first one in a series that will take place in Sagittarius over the next couple of years. Ushering us into an eclipse season that lasts into July, this eclipse is an appetizer for the main events. In an exact square to Mars, this Moon signals something challenging for us to work through (again). From New Moon to Full Moon, Mars is present, poking at our weaknesses. Conflicts can feel ever-present yet elusive to work through with this kind of set up. Happening days after Venus retrograde squares Mars, relationship dynamics and needs are teased out and then magnified with this lunation.Venus is retrograde through the entirety of this lunar cycle. One of the most important pieces of 2020’s astrology, Venus retrogrades through the same part of the sky and our charts every eight years. That means that this Venus retrograde picks up on a relationship theme that we experienced back in 2012. Circling around again, we are given the opportunity to more consciously connect with a certain part of our lives and ourselves. In Gemini, a sign known for its need to exchange data and be constantly on the go, we are challenged to find new outlets for our interpersonal needs.Mercury stations retrograde on June 18 and will skulk backward through the skies until July 12. Occurring days before a visually stunning eclipse on June 20, the end of June brings about defining complications. This Mercury Retrograde is already a challenge, but with eclipses involved, the impact is even wilder." ~ Chani Nicholas"A penumbral lunar eclipse Jun 5 at 10:45:51 am. Eclipses always amplify and intensify what the influences are and this full moon we struggle with the balance between what is dissolving and where we need to focus. Clarity of goals is illusive right now and motivation may be questionable."It is probably best to take a complete break, toss out the leaky bucket, and set a new container for your future that includes a deeper trust in spirit that all is as it should be. The intention you set for yourself should be about how you wish to feel about your life as you emerge on the other end of this interesting time of upheaval and change. The eclipse triggers our instincts and we can either take them into a negative fear reaction or an experience of trust and support as we work with the earth.

Make sure you take some time to be out in nature, anchoring your grounding cord to the earth. If you have issues around your sacrum, pelvis and hips, ask the earth to support that foundational part of your body. You may have old patterns of false support that are being dissolved and causing discomfort in that area. This too shall pass. Do your work. Trust the earth. Keep it moving. Keep it positive."  ~ Power Path School of Shamanism
