“Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others.”—Brian Tracy

Full Moon January 26th, 2013 @ 7 degrees Leo 11:38 p.m. EST 08:38 p.m. PSTThe new year has been officially underway for almost a month. And on the political front the country resumes it’s functioning per usual. Not much has changed or will change in the near future. Change is occurring everywhere however. Those who are energy sensitive feel it and many people who don’t necessarily direct their attention to these levels of experience are noticing a lightening, easing and happier world around them. Life has become more enjoyable and the good will that we know, say at Christmas, is being extended by weeks and by months as we shall witness in 2013.Enthusiasm and exuberance for being here is viral and apparent in how we interact with each other day to day. The younger generations may be responsible for distributing their optimism so that we all get it, the joy of being here, in new and profoundly altering ways. There is so much to be grateful for and it is the time to express that gratitude through service to others in whatever way that shows up for us. It isn’t difficult, time consuming or an effort. This Full Moon at 7 degrees Leo glows with generosity of spirit to brighten the potential for awakening and to understand more deeply that when we share openly with ‘community’ we receive in abundance more than we can imagine. Caring for each other is a central theme to our existence here and is being demonstrated in many beautiful ways. We each do what we can in terms of consideration for others. This is not something to dwell upon or fabricate or intend. The moment will arise and I will step into it with grace. Grace is the universe within and without and prevailing. Grace is the fabric of everything, the note from the one heart that tunes the orchestra and permeates existence; can be heard in the silence. This Full Moon in Leo—focus on needs—no, more basic, more basic still. The existence of Self and realizing that in duality is the root of beliefs that perpetuate our apparent confusion. The concept of Sun in opposition to Moon is relative to existence where there is a conscious and subconscious. What we really want to see is what is, when duality is not our reality. The opportunity presents itself in subtle form here. Aspecting the Sun and Moon are Jupiter, Uranus and Chiron. Jupiter in Gemini, sextile the Moon and trine the Sun, (still retrograde until the 30th) implores the mind to open up, to be as a new-born observant but not defining, critical or judgmental.Uranus in Aries, trine the Moon and sextile the Sun, stimulates courage to proceed boldly into territories thought to be unknown in relation to our experience. As ruler of the Sun here in Aquarius we are being pressured to dump patterns and embrace change. Uranus and Aquarius, like a flashbulb, blinds us and creates space for something else. Pallas Athena tightly conjunct the ‘enlightener’ ensures wisdom, maturity and independence. And Chiron in Pisces, inconjunct or quincunx the Moon and semi-sextile the Sun, continues to repair the warp and weft of a veil that would appear to hang between us and reality—reality meaning the knowing of “that” and I as such. When the veil is completely mended it disappears and with it all suffering and the notion that I exist as a separate entity.Further assistance in our revelatory process=Black Moon Lilith also in Gemini trine Mercury in Aquarius. The lightning strikes and shocks us into a profound realization. In shock we are aware that something percolates from within even as we are incapable of resisting. There is surrender and acceptance. The material world briefly slides into oblivion. It, the body/mind, functions without any sense of required action. Action happens quite perfectly without interference from patterns of thinking that subject one to suffering i.e. stress, unhappiness, worry/anxiety etc. The inherent intuitive nature of the water bearer shares equally with all, cannot hold back.Be aware of opportunities for sharing with others in a way that illuminates that indefinable essence of Self. The vertex in this Full Moon chart exactly squares the North and South nodes in Scorpio/Taurus. We attract others who will reflect to us the folly of individual desire for possession and security launching us into a deeper understanding of what lies buried beneath a multi-faceted surface. Then frozen with fear, unable to move, we feel a resonance that calls us home beyond the fear. We respond with gentle compliance. A long extended ahhhhhhh hisses forth from the depths of being.Yod to the Moon from Pluto in Capricorn at 10 degrees and, as mentioned Chiron in Pisces at 7 degrees being sextile to each other and inconjunct/quincunx the Moon. The ‘finger of god’ as such a configuration is known, points to the vulnerable underbelly—our needs and desires for—attention for one—and all else we want that feeds the ego. The energy here though suggests that elimination of emotional insecurity is achieved through the subtle reinforcement of collective inclusion or knowing of oneness or everythingness as opposed to the fear of nothingness and annihilation.Another potent quincunx/inconjunct exists between Black Moon Lilith and Saturn. Now the energy of this 150 degree aspect is denied us until we approach the two planets/points from a place of wisdom. Considered a minor aspect in modern times, the quincunx was in ancient astrology and the mystery schools an indication of alignment with a higher level of expression and understanding and had great significance. Technically BML and Saturn do not exist in quincunx because BML is a point and not a planet with its own energy source. This aspect rather demands acceptance as such regardless. BML pulsates the truth of our Being. As receptor to this energy, Saturn churns out the lesson of eliminating fears (patterns) that limit us to the cycle that is humanity (Saturn in Scorpio). Our fear of death or annihilation of the ego running foremost in the long line of insecurities that have frightened us into inability to live and love life.As we move out in the circle of close influence at this Full Moon, we approach Saturn in square aspect to the Moon (a bit more than 4 degrees so acceptable). Hammering at our demands and bending our will to the breaking point whereupon we are flung headlong into the effervescent flow of life. We surface at first gasping and then giggling with irrepressible joy at the sense of freedom, at last, that has overtaken my insistent resistance! This Full Moon, not just a magical vision of silver shining down from the awesome heavens but the gateway to a brilliant realization of what lies just beyond my firm believe in me—that I am “that” and not separate. Gratitude for the glimpse and for the persistence that expands the glimpse to include all things.
