What a year it has been! What an amazing season this is! With a new moon and total solar eclipse on the 14th, the winds of change are upon us. The wise ones encourage us to listen closely with all of our senses to what is stirring within us as individuals and through us as an evolving collective.
“Nations, like stars, are entitled to eclipse. All is well, provided the light returns and the eclipse does not become endless night. Dawn and resurrection are synonymous. The reappearance of the light is the same as the survival of the soul.”
~ Victor Hugo
“You are not IN the universe, you ARE the universe - an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately you are not a person, but a focal point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself. What an amazing miracle.”
~ Eckhart Tolle
What a year it has been! What an amazing season this is! With a new moon and total solar eclipse on the 14th, the winds of change are upon us. The wise ones encourage us to listen closely with all of our senses to what is stirring within us as individuals and through us as an evolving collective. We are reminded that there are vast and mysterious forces and patterns at play to which we belong and it cannot be otherwise. As astrologer Chani Nicholas notes:
“The total solar eclipse in Sagittarius occurs on December 14th, days before some of the most important astrology of the year. Both a visually spectacular event and an astrologically potent one, in Sagittarius, this eclipse will put an emphasis on our belief systems, our laws, the ways in which we travel (or not), and our educational institutions.
Occurring near the south node, this eclipse signals a moment of personal and collective release and change. If we need it, it offers the kind of restructuring that can steer our lives towards a more honest and meaningful direction.”
I’m delighted to report that Gift Cards to our online Bookshop are now available. However, given that the window for reliable holiday shipping times through our online bookshop is coming to a close, I suggest we turn our attentions toward furthering our personal healing journeys. In support of our heartfelt desires to experience & express peace and joy, I offer a few of my favorite books that have moved and inspired me over the years.
Trust me, dear reader, it was hard to pare this list down to only 14 titles. If any of these spark interest in you and you decide to place an order, please be mindful that they may not arrive until toward the end of the month or even into January, depending on various unknowable circumstances. Yet another opportunity to cultivate patience. 🙂
