Once again, a new world view is arising ... This idea is the culmination of all human history. It holds the promise of fulfilling the great aspirations of the past and heralds the advent of the next phase of our evolution. It is the idea of conscious evolution.

Greetings to our friends and community,
When I first came to Santa Barbara in 1999, I kept hearing about Barbara Marx Hubbard and the Foundation for Conscious Evolution. I wondered who was she, and, what was she up to. Then, I met her. White haired, blazing eyes, wicked smart and I got it. She was a live wire of passion. A wife, mother, writer, speaker and leader.
She was a visionary, a luminary up to transforming humankind’s relationship to understanding the past and creating the future. Wow. The Conscious Evolution Community in Santa Barbara was serving as a global model of future-creating community. What a blessing to this little seaside community that we were to serve as a futurist laboratory.
Neale Donald Walsch titled his biography of her "The Mother of Invention: The Legacy of Barbara Marx Hubbard and the Future of "YOU”. In this month of May when we celebrate the divine feminine and creative feminine force, I include her in my thanks, gratitude and appreciation for the mothering principle in all the ways it shows up.
From Marc Gafni, Foundation for Conscious Evolution Co-Chair:
A Great Leader has passed.A Great Feminine Co-Creator--reborn again and again through what she called Regenopause--a woman who was getting newer every day and never got older has left our world.A Great evolutionary has passed.A Great sun has set.A New sun must now rise. The torch has been passed.
We must all pick it up and light the world on fire.Evolution must become revolution. The New story--“evolving the very source code of evolution” is not only possible but urgently necessary as we stand between dystopia and utopia.
A deep bow.
