I discovered Tina in 2002 with her 1st album, Shores of Avalon and to this day it is still one of my absolute favorite CDs. Literally. It's one of those that you can listen to over & over & over and it never gets old. I find myself hitting the repeat button & just falling into the melodious magic. I really do believe there is magic in it.
Also great are Tina’s other CDs, Jaya Bhagavan with Jai Uttal, a percussion filled chant fest, Silent Awakening, similar to Shores of Avalon, and Lost Frontier, similar to the latter CD but with a re-grooved electronic beat. She is also on A Thousand Suns with Guru Ganesha Singh and Middle Eastern flavor.
Hans Christian is a virtuoso with the cello. His fluid, rhythmic, music is astoundingly evocative. Seeing him live…even more so! Hans is a master of live-looping and improvisation and when he was last in town, his solo performance was one of the most fascinating and memorable experiences for us.
C'mon in the store when you have a moment & we can set you up in our listening booth or we will happily play them in the store for all to here! And as always, you can preview any music CD we carry at our in-store listening station.
