Goodbye to a Wonderful Friend

From the April 18 For Pet's Sake column of the the Daily Sound, by Karen Lee Stevens:

IN PASSING. Last month, Thule, the much-loved fluffy white standard poodle, whose quiet presence instilled a sense of calm and well-being in all those he met, passed away at age 16 after a long, rich and magical life. Thule was known to countless customers at Paradise Found, Santa Barbara’s long-time bookstore for the body, mind and spirit. Teresa, the bookstore’s owner, shared this beautiful note about her beloved friend in a recent newsletter: “I love Thule with all my heart and every molecule of my being. We were a team. We lived together and worked together. We respected each other. He wasn’t my ‘baby’, or my ‘kid’. I wasn’t his owner. He was my partner, my familiar, who just happened to have four legs.” Rest in peace, Thule…
