Summer Greetings to our friends and community,

The Earth comes into its full abundance and beauty in summer; calling us, calling us--ocean, mountain, meadow--feel the call of the wild in all its abundant beauty. The more time we spend in wild places the deeper our connection to the natural environments is, and the more skillfully we attend to the interior wilderness and wildness within us. Nothing survives in nature if it is fiercely independent or excessively dependent. The heart of interdependence requires collaboration and reciprocity.

Take your inner stillness with you. Venture into the wild territories of your soul. Listen to the waves, the rocks, the trees, the murmuring of your own soul. Take a hero’s journey and bring back your messages to share with your community.

The spiritual path is not a solo endeavor. In fact, the very notion of a self who is trying to free her/himself is a delusion. We are in it together and the company of spiritual friends helps us realize our inter-connectedness. ~Tara Brach

The sun shines not on us but in us. The rivers flow not past, but through us, thrilling, tingling, vibrating every fiber and cell of the substance of our bodies, making them glide and sing. ~John Muir
