Is it all the planets in water? The New Moon or perhaps Mercury retrograde? Focusing on writing this article has been a challenge. I thought about letting it go but out of habit, I couldn’t do that. The knowing of Self negates the story.Water flowing can caress us into deep sleep or, as it crashes down upon the rocky shore, jolt us into awakening. We watch, as a rivulet becomes a stream, becomes a river integrating everything in its path; at its most intrusive, a tsunami or flood sweeps up all that lies before it.Human beings are approximately 65% water. Is it any wonder that our emotional expressions can mimic the various forms that water takes? From gentle, soulful peace of mind to raging tempest on a self-destructive course, humans traverse the environment with equal impression if not expanse of influence. (water=feeling and emotion)As mentioned in previous articles we have been experiencing a grand trine in water since early June. Saturn retrograde and Neptune form one side of the triangle while various personal planets have cycled through beginning with Mercury. At this time Jupiter moves into proximity of the limited (Saturn) and the limitless (Neptune) expanding opportunities for maturation of consciousness with the possibility of exaggerating a sense of deep security that allows us to rest in peace. With the Sun/Moon conjunction in Cancer we are thrust even deeper into a feeling state where knowing has little to do with verbal communication. The ‘waters of the womb’ envelope us, in a dream state we exist without fear or judgment. Sensation delivers environmental data that allows us to simply be without concern for doing or not doing that might lead to a thought of an incorrect or correct action. And there is no attachment to outcome. There is only the present moment.“Concern for outcome is concern for outcome in the future…generally, our concerns for the future revolve around one issue: security—specifically personal security. To abnegate concern for one’s personal future security is apparently possible only where there is absence of fear. And the quelling of fear may be possible only where there is a realization—and complete trust in that realization—that “where all things are one, there can be nothing to fear”.”—Robert Wolfe from Living NondualityIn the depths of primordial waters, all things are one, I am “that”.As often happens a theme for a new or full moon will be supported by many things in the chart. July 8 is no exception. Mercury retrograde is in Cancer insisting upon the mind dispensing with its habitual chatter and perceiving with a different set of parameters. Sift through all the thoughts generated by the past and allow them to drift into oblivion. It is dark and silent. Words tumble end over end and disappear into the distance. There is a heartbeat. There is a breath filling a chest and slowly drifting out from the nostrils. There is life. The message is to Be, simply, in awareness. Therein lies my gift and Chiron (our gifts) at 13 degrees Pisces is within trine aspect to Sun/Moon and all trine North Node in Scorpio—the plunge into what really matters, if anything could matter. Scorpio, ruled by Pluto will discover whatever lies in the deepest, darkest recesses of the human psyche that does not serve “freedom” and offer it up for annihilation.Contributing to the energies of this New Moon is the fixed star Canopus that is conjunct the Sun/Moon. Canopus is the alpha star in the constellation Argo (known as the heroes’ ship-it is the ship that carried Jason on his quest for the Golden Fleece also associated with attainment of the pure astral body) and the second brightest star in the heavens, Sirius being the brightest. Due to its magnitude it was an important marker in the sky and came to be known as the lighthouse of the universe. Therefore we could surmise that with this star prominent in this New Moon chart that we are being divinely guided on this leg of the journey to higher consciousness/awareness.This is nice to know but completely unnecessary to tell, as what comes to us does in due course regardless of what takes place in the mind. Our thoughts and or efforts have no effect as regards the apparent procession of events.Uranus is in exact trine with Venus in Leo that diminishes the notion of “me” shining, bringing it to a place of just shining—warmth—compassion. Uranus is the collective and detachment from the personal. With the Pluto/Uranus square that is, we are being helped enormously to restructure on all levels and all areas of experience here; no stone unturned. On the other side of this, as we are here in duality, is the back lash from current structures that can rise up in resistance to eventual freedom that is the result of de-structuring. As belief systems dissolve, the truth arises.One last observation is the Black Moon Lilith that figures prominently in the water grand trine. BML is a point symbolic of everything in humanity that is undesirable, dark and demonic; all that is projected away from the individual but that eventually manifests as extreme behaviour. Stuff that we long ago “separated” from but that creates a sense of isolation as whatever we think is not us is a belief that does not allow for the knowing of the true Self, “that” which is everything, without judgment. Fear arises and insecurities abound where BML resides. This until one is able to accept and allow everything as “that” is the true nature.Jupiter is now conjunct this point and so, expanded and or exaggerated is the sense of isolation we feel as a result of what we do that is separative. It is the sense of separation that creates fear. With Saturn and Neptune energies also engaged there can be a significant feeling about what limits us and then, what is helpful to dissolve the limitations. The familiar, where we are comfortable, with Jupiter involved feels too small. And gradually or very quickly there is a desire for expansion that demolishes beliefs and has no regard for any structure that’s origin lies in thought. There is a sense of trust beyond measure as the story peels away to illuminate now.Wherever Jupiter is in your chart may be added focus for a specific issue that has tethered you to doubt. Generally speaking, this giant emits energy everywhere all the time. So gather and reap and then relax and enjoy! We have never been separate or other than “that”, never less than or limited.
