falling leaveshide the pathso quietly
~John Bailey
Greetings to our friends and community,
It is early autumn and I am inspired to mimic trees. The subtle gravitational pull of the season brings the desire to very colorfully, very softly and with great grace, surrender and drop my leaves. And then, I surrender even that desire.
There is a softening to autumn and a fluid move to put aside the dynamic pulse of spring and summer and yield ourselves into observation, to drop into the heart of being and the heart of mysteries. Not my will, but Thy will be done. This is a lovely little window between the assertive drive of spring and summer and the soft, dark, moist time of deep autumn and winter. These equinox windows are delicious and important times for finding and restoring balance in a time of change within ourselves, our communities and the world.

Ben Seeley passing along sacred PF knowledge[/caption]
On the home front, long time super-staff Benjamin Seeley has sprouted wings and will be taking off for adventures afar. His first stop is Stockholm, Sweden where he will compete in the World Othello Federation Championship. Go, Benjamin! He’s then onto a Scandinavian discovery journey, and then…it’s a big world. We have so much appreciation for Benjamin. His big brain is surpassed only by his big heart. His balanced groundedness was a wonderful counterpoint to my more fluid-being style. Many are the contributions Benjamin made to the operations of PF and our ‘vibe’. A deep bow to you Benjamin and great blessings on your journey…
May everything soften and open us--allowing for timely release,
