This is our 5th Community Memorial Altar! Lovingly created by local artist and woodworker Rebecca Zendejas. We invite you to stop by and write the names of your loved ones who are in spirit form, and add them to the altar.
Join us October 24th - November 6th, to commemorate and honor your loved ones who are in spirit form. We invite you to stop by and add your beloved ones' names to the altar, and take a piece of rose quartz for emotional healing.
Inspired by the celebrations of Samhain and Días de los Muertos, once again, local artist and woodworker, Rebecca Zendejas will be creating a Community Memorial Altar at Paradise Found.
The altar will be on display from Thursday, October 24th to Wednesday, November 6th. During shop hours, the general public is invited to stop by and add the names of deceased loved ones to the altar.
Paradise Found is open everyday from 11am to 6pm.
A universal symbol of transformation and hope, the butterfly has long been associated with the spirits of deceased loved ones in cultures across the globe. Rebecca has had a lifelong fascination with the rituals and traditions that commemorate the death of loved ones that remain alive in our hearts. In response to the devastating losses of the pandemic, Rebecca approached Paradise Found and offered to make a Community Memorial Altar in October of 2020. In the years that have followed, it has become a beloved celebration.
