"The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle." ~ Anias Nin
"Every blade of grass has an angel that bends over it and whispers, 'Grow, grow.'"
Supplies:
Step One:
On a piece of paper, write one to three intentions you’d like to grow and nourish—either within yourself or in your relationships. Examples might be:
Fold the paper and place it at the bottom of your planting pot or place it on your altar.
Step Two:
Begin to fill your pot with soil. As you do so, bring yourself into a flow with mindful, loving awareness. Feel into your intention.
Gently place the seed(s) into the soil, saying aloud something like:
"As I plant this seed, I plant the energy of _______ (name your intention). I trust that in divine timing, it will take root and flourish."
Cover the seed lightly with soil and gently water it.
Step Three:
Hold your pot in your hands and reflect on how you can nurture your intention like a tender plant—with sunlight, attention, and space.
Place the pot somewhere where it can receive both moonlight and sunlight. Each day and time you water your plant, return to your intention and speak to your seedling lovingly.
Perhaps stating: "With each passing day, may my intentions grow with grace. I trust the unfolding."
Alternatively, if you do not have access or do not wish to plan seedlings, you can make this practice metaphorical by simply writing your intentions on paper and envisioning them sprouting with each day.
May your seeds of intention sprout and blossom with the magic of this Libra moonlight.
