Rocks that Rock Us: Back to School Crystals by Moorea Kern

After a year long hiatus from school spent traveling, working and soul searching, I found myself being called to enroll this fall semester. I was nervous as a year is a long time to be out of the flow of classes, but as a diligent student in the classroom of life, I prepared myself for the scholarly challenges ahead. With a backpack full of notebooks, pencils and my trusted calculator, I headed out for my first day of class with my back-to-school crystals in my pocket.

My first must have stone is Fluorite. It is a stone of clarity and order; assisting the user by silencing internal chatter and enhancing the ability to focus on the task at hand. Its color varies from rich purple, to deep blue, to glowing green and even golden yellow, healing through the solar, heart, throat and third eye chakras.
